The candle sand from ILLUMINA is made from 100% plant-based wax in small pellets.

The sand is completely white and does not yellow when it melts.

It has a high melting point, which means it melts slowly.

Approximately 45 grams melt over 8 hours.

With the candle sand, it’s easy to refresh your candle. Simply remove the used wick, smooth out the sand, and insert a new wick for an instant restart. You can also transfer the sand to a new container to vary the look and style. This flexibility gives you the freedom to always create a unique candle experience. By reusing the unused candle sand, ILLUMINA becomes a more sustainable and economical choice.

ILLUMINA candle sand is also a much safer option, as it is self-extinguishing if accidentally tipped over or left unattended. Make sure to have 5–7 cm of candle sand around each wick (use only one wick in a 10 cm wide container!) and at least 2.5 cm between the wick and the bottom of the container.

The candle sand is unscented, but you can easily personalize the candle by adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil near the wick before lighting it. Remember to exercise caution, as oils are highly flammable and should never be added to a burning candle.

Want to make a floating candle?

No problem! Fill your chosen container with the desired amount of water, then gently pour the desired amount of candle sand on top. Place the wick (make sure it stays dry for best results), light the candle, and enjoy your new floating candle.
