Make sure it is fireproof. Pour in your desired amount of candle sand and shake it level.
Place the wick
Leave about 1 cm of the wick above the sand. Position it about 5–7 cm from the edge or the next wick, with at least 2.5 cm between the wick and the bottom of the container.
Light your candle
Use a long lighter or match for safe ignition.

Renew your candle
Remove the wick with the hardened wax. Add more candle sand if needed, shake it level, and insert a new wick.
